2020 – A Muhammadan Year
Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Happy 2020 to all my Cherished Readers.

I’ve been in my pyjamas all day!  And I woke up with a red eye! I think its because a vessel must have burst while I was rubbing it, or perhaps it was because I was at a mawlid listening to Sidi Uthman Bhally describe Um Ma’bad (I love her) describe the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ saying the white of his eyes had some redness in them, so my eye thought to make itself red…?

The last two weeks of 2019 were so intense! I was working on submitting my workbook manuscript which I successfully submitted yesterday morning at 10am, before heading out to Hounslow Jamia Masjid to have a bookstall while the masjid hosted an amazing exhibition of over 200 Prophet Relics. There was a news reporter from Dunya News who I answered (babbled nervously) some questions for, keenly aware that my friend had walked past and taken my photo to distribute to my mates.

Needless today my house is a mess, we have had the messiest and most disorganised Christmas and New Year’s Day.  I’ve been having meltdowns before leaving the house ‘please can you all just help me get out of the house’ and certain others have been having meltdowns about how many glasses get left by the sink that have only been used to drink water…

A few days ago I lost my dear uncle who I loved lots, may Allah grant him paradise… so booked a ticket to visit my Aunty (Phuppo) in Pakistan and managed to book an Umrah at the same time!  Alhamdulillah, I will be taking my book to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.  Funny how things work, isn’t it?

Ao Madina chalen

Come, let’s go / chalen to Madina
Let’s go / chalen this very month / mahina

Thanks and love to all the ladies who helped me out over the last two weeks to get my workbook sent off.  I appreciate all of you.  And thank you to all those who visited my stall yesterday, I loved engaging with every one of you!  Hope to visit you in Peterborough, Accrington and Luton after the workbook has been published, inshaAllah!

And what a lovely 2020 pic, you see it spells out the word Muhammad in Arabic?  This beats the Nike and Cocoa Cola pics any day!

Here’s to a new year and new start of creating a Muhammadan ﷺ life where we can emulate being a mercy to the worlds.

The Four Traits of a Cherished Muslimah

Sara’s words penetrate deep

I began seeing the man I married that very evening.

I came to the session thinking it cant help my marriage that drastically but the effects were instantaneous!

I now have the tools to continue making improvements within my marriage, most importantly changes within myself.

Sara has helped me in so many ways!

By allowing me to feel more empowered, by showing me how to action boundaries,

by helping me to find my self-esteem,

by explaining how other people may be feeling and how to understand this,

by enabling me to do self-care things which are helpful to me.

Nearly on the verge of divorce

Attending this two-day workshop was a memorable experience.

It helped my marriage at a time when it was nearly on the verge of a divorce.

Alhamdulillah, this is 6 years of a peaceful marriage – been married 18 years now.

Universal Principles

Principles that you can apply to any aspect of your life and relationships not just in marriage!

I’ve come such a long way since my work with you

I was in such a mess with that relationship. I worked through my worthiness, self-love, finding myself and building my relationship with Allah. You introduced me to a whole new world

Sara empowered me to set boundaries, and stand up for myself.

She reminded me about my intentions and goals, and in general to have a much happier marriage and life.
