It’s funny how things happen.
My friend was going for Umrah, and I told her I wish she could take my book to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and she replied back with ‘I wish you come straight after me with your book.’
I remember gaping at her profound words thinking, What! Would this ever be possible? For me to take it to him ﷺ myself?
Then another friend of mine sent a picture sitting outside the resting place of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with my Cherished Muslimah Bookmark whilst reading the Dala’il al Khayrat, a book filled with salutations on him ﷺ.
I remember thinking my book didn’t get there, but at least my bookmark did.
And then my beloved uncle passed away. The funny and wise uncle that was always there for us. May Allah grant him Jannah. And the desire to be with my aunty, my phuppo, was so great, that we booked tickets to Pakistan to go and be with her, and managed to book Umrah tickets in the same price… we just have to stay in Beirut for an extra 6 hours on the way back, eating authentic Lebanese airport (hah!) food!
And then I had a final lot of edits sent back to me from my lovely editor Siema, and have been working solidly through them so we can finalise things before I leave on Friday morning!
So, even though my shoulders are killing me and I need to try and get in a shoulder massage within the next 12 hours, as well as pack for Pakistan and Umrah, I am so happy and thankful to Allah that he just worked it all out for me. He is my Wali and Wakil, always there for me, working things out for me in the best possible way.
InshaAllah, I’m going to take The Four Traits of a Cherished Muslimah to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
