Coaching is always so insightful!

We have so much information presented to us every day on social media, that sometimes it seems everyone else understands things just like we do.  Yet when I see a lady have an ‘a-ha’ moment during coaching, I am amazed that the simplest realisations can have such big impacts on us.   Me included!

Often our values get pushed aside as we tackle other issues that are more pressing, it could be a new baby and sleepless nights, toddler tantrums, playground tears, teenage issues, marriage problems, in-law tensions, work struggles, health challenges… to mention a few!

Any one of these is so emotionally demanding and can take a lot out of us, and yet some of us have many of them together!  And if that isn’t hard enough, often we don’t know what to do when we are presented with a problem. And amidst all this striving, our values get pushed to the back, as other, more pressing ones take over.  Often it’s these values that ‘pop up’ during coaching. And ladies stop and blink as it dawns on them that SubhanAllah, this is so important to me, how did I forget this… or even more profoundly, how did I not already know this?

In the next few posts I will be sharing some light-bulb moments that some of my coaching clients have had – simple ‘I already know this’ stuff.  Perhaps when reading them you might reflect on them and see how they could help you.

Universal Principles

Principles that you can apply to any aspect of your life and relationships not just in marriage!

Sara has helped me in so many ways!

By allowing me to feel more empowered, by showing me how to action boundaries,

by helping me to find my self-esteem,

by explaining how other people may be feeling and how to understand this,

by enabling me to do self-care things which are helpful to me.

Sara empowered me to set boundaries, and stand up for myself.

She reminded me about my intentions and goals, and in general to have a much happier marriage and life.

The Four Traits of a Cherished Muslimah

Sara’s words penetrate deep

I’ve come such a long way since my work with you

I was in such a mess with that relationship. I worked through my worthiness, self-love, finding myself and building my relationship with Allah. You introduced me to a whole new world

Nearly on the verge of divorce

Attending this two-day workshop was a memorable experience.

It helped my marriage at a time when it was nearly on the verge of a divorce.

Alhamdulillah, this is 6 years of a peaceful marriage – been married 18 years now.

I began seeing the man I married that very evening.

I came to the session thinking it cant help my marriage that drastically but the effects were instantaneous!

I now have the tools to continue making improvements within my marriage, most importantly changes within myself.
