The Four Traits of a Cherished Muslimah
Allah.
It finally got published. A few years ago, I met an old acquaintance who asked me what I was up to, and I told him I was writing a book. His amused reply: ‘weren’t you writing a book around five years ago?’
Alhamdulillah, I feel so blessed that Allah has got me this far. It truly has been a labour of love. I stopped writing when I was affected by my extreme disconnect from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and only once I had made that connection to him ﷺ did everything just fall. into. place.
It’s been a journey. Just like when you go to the beach and you collect the really nice shells and pebbles, something to hold on to, to remind you of the sea when you get back to the city, the planes, the tube and traffic jams. That’s what writing this book was like: collecting all the wisdoms and what-works and putting them together. Then sifting out all the repetition and jargon and stuff no-one really wants to know about but you…
I pray that this book helps many women.
I pray it helps us all resurrect the identity of a woman: the strong, powerful, intimate, tender, nurturing, wise, knowing and just woman. AmatuLlah.
May Allah bless you all and send His peace and blessings upon our master Muhammad and his family.
Sara.
Rabbi al Awwal 1441 – December 2019
In this book, marriage mentor and coach Sara Malik shares what she has learnt whilst searching for marital solutions for the modern-day woman and shows wives of all ages how they can systematically create better marriages.
Drawing upon Islamic principles, Jungian psychology and ancient wisdom, this book shows women how to reclaim their feminine identity whilst upholding women’s liberation. By manifesting their innate traits of leadership, love, wisdom and justice, women can create their own unique marriages, ultimately to emulate the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ, who was a perfect embodiment of these four traits.
